LimeWire - Great File Sharing

LimeWire adalah sebuah sofware file sharing P2P (Peer-to-peer) yang memungkinkan kita untuk berbagi (sharing) dan mencari berbagai jenis file seperti musik, film, video klip, software, game, dan lainnya. Saya sendiri masih belum begitu paham bagaimana cara kerja dari aplikasi ini, yang jelas, jika nilai pada jumlah host semakin besar, maka file yang kita download akan lebih cepat. Jika anda pernah menggunakan software file sharing lainnya seperti BearShare atau FrostWire, kira-kira cara kerja dan penggunaannya hampir sama dengan aplikasi yang satu ini.

Cara menggunakan LimeWire sangatlah mudah, anda cukup memilih file tipe apa yang ingin anda cari, misalkan music, lalu masukkan kata kunci (keyword) misalnya, "30 Seconds To Mars" pada isian nama penyanyinya, maka akan ditampilkan file-file music yang dibawakan oleh 30 Seconds To Mars. Lalu anda dapat mendownload file yang anda mau, dan ingat, semakin banyak jumlah hostnya, kecepatan download anda akan semakin tinggi. Simple kan??!

NB : software ini terdapat dua jenis, LimeWire Basic (freeware) dan LimeWire Pro (commercial). Pada situs resminya dikatakan jika kita menggunakan LimeWire Pro, kecepatan downloadnya akan meningkat drastis dibanding kita menggunakan LimeWire Basic. Yang mana yang ingin anda gunakan?
